Skúlin við Áir is a school for adults 18+

We offer degree in 9th grade that gives access to further education in the Faroese school system ex. miðnám in Glasir, Klaksvik, Kambsdal, Vestmanna and Suðuroy. It also gives access to Heilsuskúlin in Suðuroy and apprenticeship.

It is possible to take the 9th grade over two years where the first year will be in a preparation class.

The weekly schedule is from Monday to Friday and contains teaching in Faroese, Danish, English, Maths, History, Geography etc.

A normal school day is from 8.45 to 14.00. 

The school year starts in mid August and ends in June.
